CJAM would not be able to do its work without the help of our volunteers. Our volunteers have completed at least one year of studies at a faculty of law, are students at the École du Barreau du Québec, are completing their articling requirements, or are members in good standing of the Barreau du Québec. Our volunteers participate either as case managers, content creators or in both roles. Case managers interact directly with artists to provide them with legal information on an individual basis (all work is done over the phone until further notice). Content creators prepare short informative articles that are published on our website.
We are no longer recruiting for summer 2022. If you would like to volunteer in the 2022-23 session (September to March), write to soireesinfo@cjam.info.
On top of legal research, there will be plenty of work for people with no legal knowledge or interest. The clinic needs graphic artists, web administrators, translators, accountants and most importantly, artists and other volunteers who have experiences to share and a desire to make a contribution to our city and its artistic community.
